Learning reflection on seminar - Adobe after effects

We all know the importance of visual effects and technology in this day and age. Starting with the movies and posters. Visual effects and photoshop are the most important key in the making, production, and the final touches. Photoshop has been present since 1987 and was licensed to Adobe on 1988. While Adobe After Effects was first released in 1993. So what is After effects and what can you do with it? "After Effects is renowned for its motion graphics tools, which designers and animators use to create 2D and 3D animations with vectors and rasterized art. You can also import photographs and other pieces of physical media into your animations to generate all sorts of titles and motion graphics." - Adobe

As discussed in the zoom meeting, in what areas can you use Adobe after effects and your skills as an artist? Well, You can use it in illustrating, whether you're into drawing anime and manga. You can also apply it in digital art and graphic novels. What if you're into designing? Then you're also part of it. You can use it to develop your web design, typography design, package design, and advertising.

Basically Adobe After Effects is a versatile application with a lot of features in it. Professionals use it, students, designers, and more. Though we all know that Adobe's applications do cost a little high compared to other applications. Adobe has a monthly subscription that costs $20.99. Yes it's a bit pricy but when you're a professional and you know how to use Adobe to the max, then it's worth it. And professionals swear by it.

What do I think about Adobe as a student? Well for me I'm on the "tipid" side and I don't really spend much on softwares and applications. So using Adobe is a no for me at the moment. But in the future, if using Adobe is required then I might reconsider subscribing to Adobe every month. But I know that there are a lot of alternatives to Adobe and they are much cheaper (some are free) compared to Adobe. So maybe I'll choose the latter part instead of using Adobe.

Well as an ending note, if you're a professional and you're really hands on to your job or career then Adobe is for you. But if you're a student like me and someone who can't really afford a monthly subscription, then find an alternative to Adobe because there are a lot out there for sure.
